Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Low cost , Good Value Kathy There is a cinema and a convenience store across the parking lot. The free public bus transportation is reliable and a short walk away if you take the back streets. A K-mart is 1.5 blocks away. The Super 8 in Jackson, WY was just what I needed for my single person, low cost ski accommodations. Free public transportation around town was near-by, 1.5 block walk after I learned the short cuts! You must enjoy walking if you stay at this motel without a car of your own! Taxi service was available but erratic. This motel afforded all the amenities...comfortable bed, dependable hot water supply, counter space in bathroom, adequate winter-clothes hanging space at a considerably lower-cost than other motels but there is a "worn" atmosphere particularly in the thin-carpeted hallways. There is no elevator service. With the considerable savings on the motel room, I enjoyed the better restaurants and spas in town! The front desk staff was extremely helpful. The continental breakfast was decent. Hot coffee was available 24-hr. and popcorn in the PM. There is a cinema and a convenience store across the parking lot with a K-Mart 1.5 blocks away. During the winter this motel seems to house many European and S. American students working in Jackson for the season. I knew that I was going skiing on the cheap and I was very happy with the experience! Score 5 out of 5 Value priced for the location Anonymous You can easily walk to get your morning breakfast of that cup of coffee. The Super 8 in Jackson, Wyoming is very affordable and within a short distance from dining, shopping, and the many things that Jackson, Wyoming has to offer. Score 5 out of 5 Family Friendly Rita, 2007-03-12 Not far from downtown or Teton VillageHotel employees were very friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was okay with cereal, boiled eggs, breads/pastries, needs to add fresh fruit and possibly yogurt. Movie theater across parking lot was also nice. Overall - for the money it is a nice place to stay. Score 5 out of 5 Perfect for a Getaway Stacie, 2006-09-24 There were some great places down town, but the one we enjoyed was a steak house. there was a movie theater next door and shopping both a short drive and next door.Staff was amazing and pleasant. The hotel has a great location (near town and the mountain, the rooms have a fridge and microwave, but the don't have a clock, the fridge is loud, the pillows are kind of hard and inflexible, and there is little storage space (no closet), but the showers were great. The lever on the hot water for tea in the lobby was broken so it was coffee or nothing, and breakfast was not restocked, so when bread, donuts etc ran out, that was it for that day. WHen the electricity went out the last night of ourt stay, a manager did come by and knock on our door for a wakeup call. Score 5 out of 5 Great Location for doing Business & Playing in Jackson Kym, Seattle, WA, 2006-03-04 Super 8 is a great central location to everything & Budget rent a car has vehicles for 35 bucks a day. Driving out east of town for a look at the elk/buffalo and the Beautiful Grand Teton Mountain Range is a must. THE TETONS ARE BREATHTAKING - TRUELY GODS COUNTRY AT IT'S FINEST !!We had a nice stay at the super 8 hotel in Jackson. Jackson is a small town & the Hotel is in a nice location for doing business or playing while there. The check in/out process is very easy. The Hotel Staff are very accomodating & the rooms are clean and well kept. The Super 8 prices are a good value when you are not looking to blow all your money on an overrated Resort room that you won't spend much time in. There is so much more to see and do - Spend money on the things you can see & do and still sleep in a nice warm bed. SUPER 8 - YOU ROCK AS MUCH AS THE BEAUTIFUL SCENERY IN JACKSON HOLE WYOMING!! Score 3 out of 5 Nice place, but what was that racket? John, Minneapolis, MN, 2005-12-28 There's a Subway Sandwich shop a couple blocks away that's great for getting something quick to eat before hitting the slopes.I arrived at the Super 8 Jackson Hole after a long drive in the dark from Denver, Colorado. The check-in went smoothly but there were quite a few Hispanics hanging out in the front lobby making quite a bit of noise at 2 in the morning. The room was very spacious as well and the heater that came with the room functioned well. However I had the hardest time getting a decent night's rest due to a constant pacing about that seemed to be coming from upstairs. It sounded as if somebody decided to throw all their belongings on the floor and pack out in the middle of the night, or maybe some people were having a fight or maybe they were having sex, either way I didn't feel too hot when I went to hit the slopes of Jackson Hole the next day. I had been considering traveling West to the Park City area from Jackson Hole the next day but after my night's stay at the Super 8 Jackson Hole I decided to turn around and go back to Denver where I knew I could get a good night's rest in my own bed. Score 4 out of 5 good value denise, Pittsburgh, PA, 2005-09-07 Night life in not a thing in Jackson HoleThe super 8 in Jackson Hole Wy was more than adequate for a pre- visit to Yellowstone. There was a city bus ,Free, to take you into town proper. The rooms on the 2nd floor were noisy because above us was the laundry service. Nice breakfast and free inter-net Score 2 out of 5 My review of SUPER 8 MOTEL - JACKSON HOLE Anonymous, San Jose, CA, 2005-07-02 My largest complaint is that there was no elevator or any accomodations to assist with luggage or strollers. I had a 7 month old in a stroller and I had to carry the luggage, stroller and baby up a flight of stairs. I requested a 1st floor room after learning that they did not have any assistance with the stairs and the did not have one available and no one offered any help. |
