It had easy access to the interstate and gas stations.The Best Western Outlaw Inn was business friendly. It was nice to have outside entry and be able to park by the room. The room had a good desk area and comfortable chair for relaxing. The lighting could have been better. I liked having the vanity and bathroom seperate. Lana, Austin, TX, 2006-06-05 1.There are a number of places to dine and/or shop two exits away. 2.There is a McDonald's less than half a block away to get a quick breakfast. 3.The location is very convenient to visiting The Tetons and Yellowstone. The drive south of Rock Springs is very beautiful.Our stay at the Best Western Outlaw in in Rock Springs could have been better with a few changes. We chose this hotel primarily for its location. It would have been more convenient had they offered a complementary breakfast which was standard for all the other holtels on on route, regardless of price. The room and facilities were fairly nice but I was unable to use the pool because there were no restrictions on smoking in the enclosed area and there were people smoking at both ends of the pool and I had to cut short my swim. The location of the ice machine also required running another guantlet of smoke because we had to go through the bar. Had I not wished to swim or needed ice, I probably would have had a much more favorable impression. Our meal in the Hotel Restaurant was very nice, the service was friendly, and the price was very good. I will stay at this facility again.
