I had 2 red flags before I checked in - the security person at the door, and the sign on the counter that said you could look at a room before paying, but no refunds would be given. The entry hallway to the rooms was cluttered with luggage carriers and laundry bins - hardly inviting. But the room was the worst. The linens, both on the bed and the bathcloths and towels were stained. The bathtub was dirty and looked like a repair had been attempted but poorly executed. We were unable to bathe in it. One reason we chose the hotel was the continental breakfast, but it closed so early we missed it - the clerk did not tell me the breakfast hours at check-in.
