The housekeeping staff did an excellent job. The restaurant was just average. For a business traveler, it was a good value and the location was a plus. The bathroom could use a good scrubbing and mildew remover. The hotel was located across the street from Greyhound bus terminal, thus every announcement made was heard clearly in the hotel room. The street outside the hotel was ripped up, creating difficulty to access the hotel either walking or driving. The room was adequate in size and had a great view of the Milwaukee sky line. Located just one block south of Wisconsin Avenue, the hotel is very accessible and is in walking distance of downtown dining. I was impressed with the hotel. What it lacks in luxury, it makes up for in value. With free parking and lower priced rooms it appeals to the traveler on a budjet who still needs the convenience of a downtown hotel.
