Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Old but worth the price James, Tampa, FL, 2006-11-14 Shopping on 27th street was convenient...The hotel is old and is showing signs of its age. We really didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel because we had a lot of visiting to get in. Our toilet rocked but maintenance fixed it when we brought it to their attention. My only complaint was that there was no coffee in the loby on Monday because the restraunt was closed on Mondays. Plus we had a coffee pot in our room and they left us extra coffee on Sunday when they cleaned. The staff was frendly and courteous and for the price the hotel is worth while... Score 1 out of 5 STUNK Anonymous, 2006-09-26 Couldnt even use the phone to dial out. Luckily I had a Cell Phone. Trashy OLD room. The highlight was the cleaning lady who treated us very nicely, and made an extra effort for me. Score 3 out of 5 It was practical Anonymous, 2006-09-24 Right out front is a stop for the local bus, it'll take you everywhere you need to go. A driver from the Radisson will pick you up from the airport and take you back, free, drivers are crazy drivers so hold on. Radisson and Ramada are right next to each other. When we first walked in, it smelled heavily of smoke. I was a bit preturbed just because I am allergic. The hall-way smelled really strongly. Our room was very clean, the bathroom was gleaming so we were really happy about that. It was a bit drury and the lighting wasn't up to par. The linens on the beds didn't seem clean at all, but they were fine since we were only staying one night, and they very well may have been clean...who knows. The locks were stable, but you could hear through the door loud and clear. It was fine for the one night we stayed and the crew was all very nice. Fortunately there is a decent Houstons in the Raddison which is right next door.I only stay at airport hotels for location and value, as they are usually much less expensive than downtown hotels, and I do not like to be a slave to rush hour traffic when I have an early AM departure. I usually look for a major flag, like Ramada but I do not have high expectations (nor desire) for great amenities or high end dining experiences. I accept the trade-off for price and convenience. Score 1 out of 5 Needs Overhaul Anonymous, 2006-04-26 The rooms are VERY old and VERY worn. The check-in staff was very friendly and helpful Score 5 out of 5 great for going to airport Deborah, Milwaukee, WI, 2006-03-11 close to airportwas great for going to the airport and parking your car Score 2 out of 5 Very dirty and poorly kept Anonymous, Chicago, IL, 2006-03-02 I had to ask for a room change 3 times. The first2 rooms had a fan blower that was not working. The second room had a curtain that was so burnt. The night light at my bed was unplugged and when moved the night table the dust was so thick. My 3rd room had faucet that I had to play with to get the right temperature. If I was not so tired i would have moved to another hotel. the maintenance guy had to be borrowed from another hotel. |
