Great Hotel with prices to match.

The Wingate Inn in Madison was a very nice hotel. They had a nice pool, small fitness room, and breakfast every morning. It was a good breakfast, too. The people working there were very friendly and courteous and helpful. The one downfall was that the hotel is sort of isolated and the nearest stores, malls, restaurants, etc. are quite a few miles away. If that doesn't play a factor into your travel, this is a perfect hotel to stay. I would still recommend this hotel as one of the better hotels I've ever stayed in.

Missed my wake-up call

Not much near by... pretty isolated location

The Madisson Wingate hotel is a very nice property, if not a bit out of the way. Nice pool, workout facility and rooms, but they completely fogot my wakeup call, and were it not for a call on my cellphone, I would have overslept and been late for my first meeting! The front desk had my wakeup request noted and blamed their automated service...

make sure you have a rental car.

The Win Gate was comfortable to stay in. They did have transportation from the airport, but when I was ready to leave they could not supply transportation. Staff was very helpful with directing you to resturants. If you don't have transportation the hotel was located away from eaterys and shoping.

The Wingate Inn includes a wonderful complimentary breakfast. Eggs, sausage, belgin waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee and assorted breads & rolls, dining area clean and staff is friendly.

Great value for the amenities

Shopping and restaurants are a short drive, but the hotel is still away from heavy traffic

Wingate is a very nice chain. I have stayed here quite a few times and is usually very satisfied. However when I came into the room I tured on the air to high cool and left for a couple of hours. When I returned it was still quite warm and never did cool down through the night. The hall was much cooler then the room. It is great to have a fridge and microwave in each room.

It is easy on and off the highway which was great!!

very nice Harley Davidson Dealer smack dab next door and it's Big!! Very nice! There's a gastation with a subway inside and a casino right around the corner they said, but it could have been bingo...not sure.Other than that...it's in the middle of no where...there is dining about 10 min. away, not hard to find. Great pool, whirlpool and fitness center. Hot breakfast and clean rooms...we had the jaquzzi suite and it was very comfortable for the money. I would stay at this hotel again.

You have to drive alittle to get to anywhere

Wingate had an extremely friendly staff and the pool seemed very clean and the area around it which was important for me since I have kids. I have to say that the room was a little run down. It also could have been cleaned better. We pretty much were there for an hour of swimming and just to sleep so it did the job. The ultimate was the breakfast buffet which had everything you could think of and very attentive staff.
