Most recent user reviewsScore 2 out of 5 We're really not picky, but... Caitlin, Chicago, IL, 2006-02-20 My husband and I are very relaxed in our attitudes about hotels. As long as there is a stain-free bed and a TV we are, for the most part, happy. What we were less prepared for was the extremely loud, extremely lewd noises that we could hear as plain as day through the paper thin walls. We could also hear the TVs from 2 other rooms. our room was very clean, although so much air freshener was used that our eyes were watering and we had to open the window -- it was 1 below zero. Overall, it was not the worst hotel we had ever stayed at, but it's not worth the hassle. As it stands, we were warm and had a bed and cable TV. No reccommendations, though. Score 1 out of 5 Review JILLIAN, Williston, ND, 2006-02-12 It is located in the ghetto.Score 5 out of 5 Excellent for frequent visits near the University of Wisconsin, Madison Maria, Chicago, IL, 2005-10-10 State Street, Madison is just great and a short drive from the motel. The entire 6 block area is cordoned from traffic and provides many unusal bistros with approximately 20 ethnic flairs. The shops are just great, again from all over the world. Sidewalk musicians and singers, remember, this is one of the best college towns in the USA.I was very pleased with this motel. I had taken my daughter to visit the University Of Wisconsin, Madison. The room was very clean and there were 2 double beds. The motel was approximately 10-15 minutes away from the University. There was cable TV. The bathroom was clean. It had a shower, not a bathtub. There was no restaurant on the premises but it wa located very close to many fast food and sit-down restaurants. There wa no pool or restaurant but I was not looking for thee amenities. I was excited to find a reasonably priced motel for the many visits we will be taking once my daughter goes to school in Madison. Score 4 out of 5 OK Motel Anonymous, Minneapolis, MN, 2005-10-06 CampusI had to go into the bar and get my key. Several "shady" characters in the bar. OTherwise, the room was adequate. |
