We only stayed one night, I wish we could have stayed longer to try out all the things there. It was very nice, a little pricey but very nice resort. I would love to go back for a week-end some time in the future. Score 4 out of 5 Great Get-Away Anonymous, 2006-02-26 There are many restaurants in the town of Lake Geneva just about 1 mile off the resort.Located on many acres, we were able to enjoy almost everything this resort has to offer. We took snowboarding lessons and spend hours on the hills, went horseback trail riding, enjoyed the indoor waterpark and of course, the Sunday Brunch. We were in a non-smoking room, however and somehow ciggarette smoke blew through the vents at night. It was hard to fall asleep with the smell as bad as it was. When the hotel guest services was notified, nothing was done and they provided NO apologies. There is even ice fishing during the winter months.The Grand Geneva Resort was absolutely beautiful. The Frank Lloyd Wright architecture was incredible as was the lovely pianist in the lobby. My husband and I had a wonderful time and loved the room, spa, pool, ski lodge and Chop House. Kudos to the chef! We were able to have the "maiden voyage" on their new remote-control boats on the lake and it was fantastic. The grounds are just beautiful and certainly add to the experience. We dined at the Chophouse Restaurant in the hotel and it was truly a "dining experience." We checked out the fitness center and were very impressed. We did think perhaps the price charged for the climbing wall was a bit excessive. The locker rooms were first class. We would definetely stay the the Grand Geneva again. We had a wonderful time.
