Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 everything we needed Ruth, 2007-02-10 The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our short stay. I liked that it was roomy enough for using the desk, eating and plenty of space for fixing meals waithout bumping into things....I think this ESA hotel is great for long or short stays. Ours was short but would not hesitate to use for a longer stay...All we needed was there.... Score 4 out of 5 Good Trip Keith, Jacksonville, FL, 2006-07-14 fox cities mall which has several national chains as well as many resturants.overall the hotel was nice. nice equipped kitchen in the room, comfortable bed. only drawback was the small tub in the bathroom. Score 5 out of 5 My review of ESA Appleton-Fox Cities Anonymous, 2006-02-12 The Fox River Mall is about three blocks from the hotel. Either a short drive or fairly longer walk. Has big department stores and smaller specialty shops. As this was my first time at the Extended Stay America Appleton, I was surprised at the security features. The front door is locked at 11pm and contact with staff is through a phone. The staff are accomdating and set out to keep patrons at ease. The room was larger than expected. I was aware that there would be a kitchenette area, but it was bigger than I thought. The closet was at the opposite end from the door; with quite a bit of space. The hotel was easy to find - roughly four blocks from the highway. Score 4 out of 5 Fox Cities Anonymous, Detroit, MI, 2005-08-14 Leave your car at the hotel and take a short walk to a great variety of choices for dining or shopping.Friendly and couteious staff, great location and moderately priced. We had never heard of it before, but the price was right and not many hotels were available on the night we needed a room. We decided to give it a try and we were very impressed. The room was very well kept and very clean. We loved the kitchen area and the room had plenty of space if were staying weeks at a time, which that is really what this was set up for, but over nighters are welcome. Very nice staff and very easy...no hassles. Score 5 out of 5 Clean and Quiet James, Detroit, MI, 2005-06-05 The hotel was clean and it was a great place to rest. Very quiet at night. Front desk staff were very nice people and efficient. |
