Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Needs updates Anonymous, 2007-03-14 The Days INN has potential, but needs some updates. The room I stayed in did not have any security locks. The pool area, especially the water fountain area, had potted soil in the fountain and surrounding area. The breakfast had very little to offer. The pool area however had a lot to offer, including a play area for children. The hotel staff were very friendly and knowledgable. It is very close to the UW-Eau Claire campus Score 4 out of 5 Great Value Joel, Milwaukee, WI, 2007-02-04 Location was not great but we are very familiar with the area so it worked out fine. There are many restaurants/fast food/gas stations near by.We were only there for one night but we were happy with the room and location of the pool. We have 3 boys and all they care about is where the pool is located. The room seemed a little out of date but it was clean and comfortable. We were there during subzero temps so the window was iced up pretty bad but the room was warm with the heater. The pipes froze up the next morning so we had no hot water but maintenance fix it within 10 minutes. Excellent employees!! Score 5 out of 5 Comfortable and Confined Anonymous, 2006-10-14 There is a strip of things to eat in a short distance as well as shopping! The way the hotel room face in door toward the pool was a great advantage because I was able to observe my kids from the comfort of the bed and if there would have been a pool issue then I easily could have made it to the pool. All of the room were in sight which also helped because then I wasn't worried about the kids takking the wrong hallway. The room was very large and comfortable! The hottub wasn't working but the pool had a depth of 9 feet deep which was cool! Score 4 out of 5 Mixed feelings about stay Jane, Houston, TX, 2006-07-04 Several eating places within a couple of blocks, including a buffet and McDonald's if the kids want it.When we checked in the front desk clerk was very nice. However, our first room was in the section of the hotel was very old and not well maintained. We were in our pajamas and going to bed when we discovered the dead bolt didn't work. There was no way to safely keep the door closed and locked. The second room was in the newer wing and much nicer. I WOULD recommend the newer wing to friends |
