Many food choices, lots of fast food, upscale dining, safeway store. Historic park nearby. Easy access to freeway. Gas stations near.The room had two beds, when I went to turn down the bed I had choosen to sleep in, it had hair on the sheets and pillows, apartently the linens had not been changed from the previous visitor. The other bed was clean and fresh. However, the linens were not changed on this bed during my stay. A small fridge would have been nice. They are not expensive. Micro's are very cheep now too. What I spent on ice for ice chest,would have paid for a nicer motel. The motel was the lowest price, but I would not stay in it for more than one night ever again. Score 5 out of 5 Attractive LINDA, Columbus, OH, 2005-08-01 The Gibson House on Tower Avenue is a lovely restaurant for fine dining. Shari's restaurant, just below the freeway, is a fine family style restaurant.I was very pleased with the lawn area with a gazebo just outside my room. It was very attractive and provided a resort atmosphere. The only ground floor room available was a handicapped room, and because I am a woman traveling alone with a lot of luggage, I took it. It took some getting used to how the lighting worked, but once I figured it out, it worked fine. I'm assuming that there was no table in the room because the bathroom takes so much space. There was a small desk space for writing but I would have preferred a table. There are many restaurants, stores, factory outlets, and a park nearby. It is not far to the center of town, and there is a Wal-Mart center just a few miles south on the Freeway. It was a good buy for the money. |
