Wonderful Continental Breakfast

Deception Pass is a local tourist attraction. It is a narrow body of water separating Fidalgo Island and Whidbey Island. There is a man made bridge now connecting the two islands that you can walk or drive across. The view of the ocean passage way is spectacular.

The Fidalgo Inn was a very quaint place to stay. The view of the ocean is beautiful. The town of Anacortes is only about a 3 min. drive away. My children really enjoyed the continental breakfast. Making their own waffles was a highlight, as well having a dining area for us to sit was helpful.

Good Location

Rockfish Grill

Choose this hotel for the location. We did a day trip to the San Juan Islands and it worked out well. The room barely fit my family of 5 with a roll-away. It include a small refrigerator and microwave. Overall it was a good value hotel.

Country Inn Indeed

It's about an hour ferry ride to Friday Harbor on San Juan Island.

The Fidalgo Country Inn is truly in the country. It's location makes it a great place to locate for vacationers headed to San Juan Island. The room was spacious. The beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

A little expensive

Hotel is convenient for Anacortes ferry, but it is right off the main drag. Don't pay extra for the "partial bay view" as that means you will end up with traffic noise.

Too much money for too little.

The room was quaint. We had to travel to town for any decent food. It wasn't any better than a Motel 6. Motel 6 is actually a lot cheaper.
