Score 5 out of 5 Easy alternative to Portland Anonymous, Seattle, WA, 2007-03-03 Easier than staying in Portland, and close to the airport Score 5 out of 5 My review of Shilo Inn Vancouver Yvonne, Springfield, IL, 2007-02-25 There were no traffice noise I enjoyed the stay very much Didn't use the hotel amenities Score 5 out of 5 Great Place to Stay Jack, Waco, TX, 2007-02-21 The continental breakfast at the Hotel was great and it had lots of choices including Waffles. We stayed at the Shilo Inn for a week. We enjoyed the location, price, amenties, and service. It is conveniently located in Downtown Vancouver Washington and just across the river from Portland Oregon. There was convenient parking at the front and rear of the Hotel. The Hotel shares a parking lot with Stuart Anderson's Black Angus restaurant which is a wonderful place to get Prime Rib. The cookies and fruit available to guests was a nice touch. The room was plenty big enough and having a refrigerator and Microwave made it convenient to have snacks available all the time. Free High Speed wireless internet was a great bonus. We would stay there again are at any Shilo Inn for that matter. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Score 4 out of 5 Value for your money Anonymous, Seattle, WA, 2006-10-08 The Shilo Inn at Vancouver is a good choice when attending Portland functions at venues which host large crowds and require an overnight stay. They are a quick 15 minute drive yet provide ample parking, a very nice continenetal breakfast, and a Black Angus restuarant adjacent to the property. The staff is very friendly, and the lobby stocks fruit, popcorn, etc for their guests. The rooms are kept clean, are ample in size, and have a microwave & refrigerator. The Shilo also has high speed internet access at no additional cost. For the cost, it is a great value. Score 4 out of 5 Good Place Anonymous, 2006-09-18 Right across the parking lot.The hotel was nice. It was easy to find and very clean. The only drawback is the old key style doors rather than access cards. Other than that it was really nice and in a good spot. Score 5 out of 5 More than the usual continental breakfast Anonymous, 2006-05-21 The Stuart Anderson restaurant next door had very good food. The Shilo Inn in downtown Vancouver WA was basic but clean and very convenient to where I needed to be. The breakfast was far more than any "continental" breakfast: hard boiled eggs, yoghurt, cold cereal, bagels, sweet rolls, doughnuts, fruit, biscuits and gravy, coffee, many juices, etc. Also nice was the Sunday Seattle Times newspaper outside my door on Saturday morning.
