Most recent user reviewsScore 2 out of 5 Poor amenities and noisy area Wayne, Milwaukee, WI, 2006-10-29 Safeway is nearby. All the other food stores were out of business. The room was very small and basic. It did not even have a hair dryer. Heavy traffic and aircraft noise made it unpleasant. The one good thing was the inclusion of a refrigerator and microwave. At least the price was nice. Score 4 out of 5 Review Anonymous, Philadelphia, PA, 2006-10-28 dinning was a short walk from hotel.all the fast food you want!Score 4 out of 5 Staff was great/room a little disappointing Anonymous, Reno, NV, 2006-10-23 The Seattle "Go Pass" was great. We were very surprised at what a great value it wasThe Sea Tac Valu Inn would be a great place to stay if they would invest a little money into bedding. The sheets were definately "cheap", the blankets had holes in them and were like cardboard and the bedspreads on both beds had holes in them. The pillows were very thin and we had to ask for extras to be somewhat comfortable. But, the good news is that everything was very clean. Neither the sinks or the tub had plugs. We couldn't give our child a bath since we couldn't stop up the tub. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They seemed to really care about our comfort. Score 4 out of 5 Friendly Staff But... Anonymous, 2006-10-15 The staff was very friendly but the room was ok. There was some mold damage near the door and rust stains on the shower and tub. The room was comfortable over all though. Score 4 out of 5 Clean rooms Ralph, 2006-10-07 Many places to eat within one mile of hotel. The rooms were clean and the hotel staff was friendly. Score 4 out of 5 Good Value & Location Roberta, Newark, NJ, 2006-09-27 The SeaTac Valu Inn was, indeed, a value. Bed, table and with two chairs, dresser & television. Bathroom separate from vanity area; adequate space for clothes hanging. The location was convenient -- which happens to be on a major road BY the airport. One did hear traffic (both car and plane) throughout the night. There is an excellent Thai restaurant immediately next door, otherwise one would have to drive to find meals. The hotel "breakfast" was coffee, piece of fruit (banana), and a packaged pastry. Score 4 out of 5 Very clean and quiet Deborah, Fresno, CA, 2006-08-19 1. Mount Rainer National Park was a short car trip away. 2. Downtown Seattle was easy to get to by taking surface streets. 3. The hotel was within walking distance of a large chain grocery store. The Sea Tac Value Inn was extremely quiet despite being close to the Seattle airport. We had constant problems all week with our room credit card key not working and had to go multiple times to replace it. There were not enough towels and only 2 pillows, no extras. There was no alarm clock. The room was always very clean but smelled of residual cigarette smoke. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room but it was obvious that smoking was allowed or done in the room at one time. Mutiple cigarette burns on the bathtub next to the commode and cigarette burns in the mattress as well as the blanket on the bed were evidence to that. The refrigerator and microwave were nice but a coffeemaker would have been nice too. Score 5 out of 5 Good location, good price Anonymous, 2006-06-11 3 miles to airport, about 10 minutes to Air and Space Museum, day trip to Mt. Rainier. The room was clean and comfortable, but not fancy. A normal motel room. We had a group renting 4 rooms, and all rooms had a mini-fridge and microwave except one. Hotel staff were very helpful with area information and were very friendly. The location is ideal if you need to get to the airport as it is just about 3 miles south of SEATAC. Grocery and drugstores close by, but not many restaurants in the area. A Thai restaurant is next door to the motel, but we didn't go there. I would recommend for anyone wanting an inexpensive, convenient motel. Score 5 out of 5 Good Value for the Money Anonymous, Honolulu, HI, 2006-04-13 It would be good if there weren't cigarette burns all over the bathtub - but, other than that, no complaints. This hotel was fine - for the money. It was, certainly, better than I expected. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were perfectly adequate. It was a better experience than I expected - and the location, although close to the airport (which I wanted) was pretty quite. |
