Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Good location. Anonymous This hotel was ok for the money we paid. The only thing was the bathroom wasn't really great. The bathtub didn't drain well. Score 5 out of 5 yum yum Anonymous, Boston, MA wobbly barn! The continental breakfast well exceeded expectations, and the location was unbeatable (walking distance to some great bars, and a quick drive to killington). The staff was friendly and helpfull. Score 4 out of 5 Fine, but I expected more/better Carolyn, 2007-03-12 The nightlife, restaurants, shops, etc. are close by and the shuttle takes you quickly and easily to the mountain for skiing. The Inn of the Six Mountains was not as nice as we had expected. It is rather pricey, looks fancy from the outside, and reputed to be very nice. It was okay, but not up to the hype I'd read/heard. The room was comfortable and clean, but so are rooms at less pricey hotels in the area. It was nothing fancy - with a basic, crudely put together bathroom and otherwise typical room. The service was good, though the staff in the restaurant at breakfast was not friendly, at all. Breakfast was good, but nothing great -few choices, mediocre quality, etc. The fitness center was VERY limited and the floor looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in months - not very appealing when you're stretching. Overall, I'd say it was accaptable, but not great for the price. We were disappointed. Score 4 out of 5 Convenient location w/ basic amenities Anonymous, Boston, MA, 2007-02-25 Sushi Yoshi is a good Japanese/Chinese restaurant for apres/ski.The Inn of the Six mountains is located within a mile of Killington mountain, in the Killington road access which makes it accesible to skiing, dining and shopping. I particularly enjoyed the convenience of the free shuttle to the mountain and the full breakfast included in the hotel. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable but a little outdated. Score 5 out of 5 great access/location to ski mountain and amenities Christine, Harrisburg, PA, 2006-12-15 With 500 other Profesional Ski instructors, we have an early season on-snow 5 day (Monday - Friday)ski program the 2nd to 3rd week in December. This hotel advertized a restaurant and a bar but unfortunately we could not take advantage of this because it was only opened Friday and Saturday night. Albeit, we did enjoy the complimentary buffet breakfast (eggs, pancakes, etc) that came with the price of the room. Score 5 out of 5 An overall good time Anonymous, Oakland, CA, 2006-06-26 Mogels next door has everything from video games to horseshoe pits. The Inn of the Six Mountains is a great hotel to stay at. There are plenty of bars and restaruants around. The one located at the hotel is good too. Staff was there to help with your every need. Only thing that made things uncomfortable at times was the lack of air conditioning in the rooms. I realize that it's mainly a winter hotel but it was a little hard sleeping during humid nights. The area is beautiful and highly recommend anyone to book thier next stay at the Inn of the Six Mountains. Score 4 out of 5 Close to everything Anonymous, New York, NY, 2006-04-10 Check out Mogul's, a friendly bar with good burgers directly across the street. The Inn of the Six Mountains is right on the access road and nearly within walking distance from the slopes, as well as being right in the middle of Killington's legendary night life. The rooms are adequate, nothing special, but sufficiently spacious. Score 2 out of 5 Review Bruce, Philadelphia, PA, 2006-03-08 Killington ski resort is minutes away. Great location on the Killington Road. The Inn of Six Mountains has tremendous potential but it's best days have gone by in years past. The check-in was a non-event and the front desk was friendly. The first impression of the room was a stale smell which needed the windows opened immediately. One of the windows would not open. The small refrigerator was warm inside so it was not used. The TV was good but no additional services were available as every other hotel in the world offers, so this hotel has a DVD player to use. The technician came back 3-4 times to fix the player, until he replaced the cable, and the unit. Finally we could watch the DVD we happened to bring. The bathroom mirrows needed to be cleaned and the floor was dusty and dirty. The air filter over the shower was filled with clumps of dust which had not been cleaned for months. The beds were ok but the bedspread smelled and was dirty. We ended up sleeping on top of the sheets and used our own blankets. Not good. The included breakfast was not worth whatever they charged us and we only ate there 1 of 3 free included meals. This facilty has great potential but the upkeep has not been maintained. Too many corners have been cut and the price for the value is not worth going back, EVER!! Nice atmosphere, very friendly and attentive service, and high quality food. The Inn of The Six Mountains was a very satisfactory hotel. Not fancy, but nice and a good value. The outdoor pool was clean and very nice. The complimentary breakfast was decent. All in all, no complaints. |
