there is a bunch of restaurants 2 miles down the road.

this hotel was sort of nice. The staff gave me a hard time about wanting more towels.

Americas Best Value Inn was very comfortable...the room was clean and large enough...the bathroom was large and clean..the heater was working very well. It was very quiet...we visit Richmond and this motel is near my daughter's ....so it is convenient....we stayed at another in Chester the previous month and it wasn't a good stay at all....this time it was good...

Very poor experience.

Downtown Richmond is about 10 minutes away.

Americas Best Value Inn - Richmond South, Richmond, VA was a very poor experience in general. The place was dirty. There was soap from other people attached to the bottom of the shower. There was crumbs, and dirt, and stones in the beds on the sheets before we even took the nasty comforter off. This room should have been $30 per night. I would not recommend this to anyone.
