Only 15 minutes from the colosium

This was a very nice a quiet hotel next to the bay. The staff was very friendly and the room clean and nice. The price was very nice as well. I highly recoment this hotel for such a low price.

Property ins right on the beach.

Hotel property was in a very nice location. Property was somewhat rundown. My room was musty and in need of an update. Towels were clean but in need of replacement.

I will never again stay at this hotel!!! The room had mold and mildue. The door did not have a dead bolt and the management did not want to help us out even when we told them we had a stick child throwing up and needed towels. We were t stay for a week and only stayed enough to pack and leave.

This hotel was in a crime infested area and not safe for a family to stay after dark.

During check-in the staff didn't seem interested in during business. The dining, business center, exercise area, were all closed and boarded up. The outside pool looked fine but the water seemed dirty. The rooms had no wireless internet service, could not get new batteries for TV remote and the bathroom was in need of repair and cleaning. Hotel outside facitlites were in need or repair and general cleaning.

The beach is right behind the motel which is beautiful.

The motel was alright except that their is really no place that is within walking distance if you wanted to go eat. You need to get in your car and drive for quite a while.

What ever you do make sure that you look around the area where you are parking because if not your vehicle will get towed.

My stay at the Super 8 motel in Norfolk, Va was not one of my best. When I checked in at the front desk at first the attendant acted as if she couldn't find my name in the computer. After she found my name, she had an attitude about giving me the room. Then after I got to my room, I was tired I had been driving all night and I wanted to just take a shower and go to sleep. When I walked into the bathroom the first thing I noticed besides the smell was that the tub had brown stains in it, and the shower curtains had brown lines of something running down. It made me sick to my stomach. So I immediately called the front desk and asked that someone come up and take care of the situation or either give us another room. It took about three hours for someone to come and clean, but the lady that came was very polite. She gave us directions to restuarants and different shopping areas. She did a good job cleaning the room by the time she was finished.it looked good as new. After the room had been cleaned she provided us with fresh towels and sheets and was very appologetic for the rest of the staff and mentioned that she would have got there sooner if she had been there, and that her shift had just started. other than our initial entrance to the hotel and the hotel room the rest of our stay was as comfortable as it could have possibly been.

It was very run down and dirty. The continental breakfast was hard old donuts and cold coffee.
