close to everything

huge shopping mall across the street

enjoyed my stay due to proximity to all the interests necessary to be comfortable. plenty of choices for shopping and dining within a short walk. also staff kept up with cleaning the room , even asking if i needed anything special as i left for the day.

Room was dirty, not vacuummed, trash cans still had trash in them; bed not made the next day - hallway was dirty- outside grounds not kept up - At check-in, the clerk demanded my credit card and would not check me in without it - later, found out from the supervisor that that procedure was wrong.

Older Motel

Waffle House is right there.

This older Super-8 Motel was either not managed as part of the national chain of motels or just individually had improper management. The room had a strong masked odor. The much older bed mattress did not have fitted sheets, only flat sheets laid on top, the old re-used pillows were flattened, the old blanket was totally full of pilled balls, and the old comforter had cigarette burns. We did address this the next day, since we had arrived late the evening before, and at our request the blanket and comforter were replaced, along with an additional set of pillows. The motel was rated a 2-star and we understood this would be a savings for us, but now having seen the room, I think it may be over-rated. The motel location was ideal from the airport and offered plenty of convienant shopping and dining experience.
