Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 good stop-over place Anonymous, 2006-09-14 I decided to stay here the first night of my trip rather than go downtown and spend twice the money. (I arrived from Dulles around 11p). The hotel is located in a shopping center in a suburban area. Definetely not a "tourist" hotel unless you have a car or want to pay lots of money for cabs. It's about 30 minutes away from the city. But, because it's in a shopping center there are plenty of dining options within walking distance. Also, the kitchenette was a nice. Score 5 out of 5 Just Like Home lynn, Baltimore, MD, 2006-06-29 The Chinese restaurant which was recommended to us was just a mile or so away! Great area for eating! We had the coolest room! When we walked in there was a little kitchen with coffee all ready for us to use as well as a nice big bed which provided us with one hell of a good nights sleep. The only thing we missed was a "wake up" call but found that the alarm clock was there for that exact purpose. The front office staff was not only efficient, but he was more than accommodating when we needed a good place to eat. Score 4 out of 5 Locked entrance Pierce, 2006-05-04 The nearby IHOP is one of the best I have had a breakfast in. Large, attractive and better food than average.I had called ahead telling the hotel that my plane arrived quite late at night (after 11 p.m.) and asked if that would present a check-in problem. I was told very late arrival was "no problem". Upon arriving around midnight I found the front door of the hotel locked tight. I was able to use a phone at the door and summon a hotel employee -- who was NOT at the front desk. He let me in. And since parking was quite a distance from the entrance, I had to return to the car to get my bags after checking in and seeing my room. The hotel employee waited for me to get my luggage and then re-locked the front door...so that returning to my car for other items was impossible -- without being locked out again. The room was acceptable...if very plain. The bath was well stocked with towels, etc, very clean and very acceptable. |
