Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Hotel Maintenance and upkeep Anonymous The commode would not flush properly. There was cold air coming in around the door. The lighting was inadequate. Breakfast needed to have some low-carb choices for diabetics and others seeking to protect their health. Score 4 out of 5 Review Anonymous No review provided by user Score 5 out of 5 Extremely Adequate David, Milwaukee, WI The Best Western Pentagon was clean and comfortable. With the free high-speed wireless internet, and the hotel shuttles to and from the airport and Pentagon City Mall, I couldn't ask for anything more. And the price was right! Score 5 out of 5 Very Friendly Mitchell, Hartford, CT Great basic place. It had what you needed for a good nights sleep. It was quiet. NO dinner places to eat at hotel, you had to travel to eat dinner or lunch. Breakfast was good and ample. Score 4 out of 5 Review Anonymous, 2007-03-09 There was a resturant close by that was very niceScore 4 out of 5 OK value with Shuttle Service Anonymous, 2007-03-06 Reason for selecting the motel was shuttle service to Reagan National and to Pentegon City metro--shuttle was on time and comfortable. They quickly added a second shuttle to the airport to take care of an overflow. The room was OK, clean, large, sufficient. Breakfast was minimal compared to nearly any other hotel I have stayed at. But this is Washington, and the price was right. Score 2 out of 5 Mouse trap Room Emily, Little Rock, AR, 2005-12-17 Luckly my Brother-in-law had a truck and we were able to go into Arlington for supper as everything around the hotel looked run down, I would have been afraid to trade my money for any of the services around where the hotel is located. On arrival at the Best Western Pentagon I was given a room key and a ticket for the Continnental Breakfast in The Eisenhower Room. I was given great instructions to the room and very unclear instructions to the Continnental breakfast area (it is located in a make shift hotel room). Only one ice machine was in operating order from the three that I tried. The Continnental Breakfast selection was just lacking in taste and left me wondering why I was given a ticket. I did get a cup of coffee and a orange. There was a sticky mouse trap behind the night stand, so I sort of slept with one eye open just in case a mouse ran in. The only reason I saw it was because my sister and brother-in -law were in the next room and we had the door open between the rooms. I had to call the hotel on arrival at Regan National for a shuttle ride after waiting for about 30 to 45 minutes. Then it took another 45 minutes for it to arrive. Two good experiences I can report. The housekeeper that came into the room was very friendly and did leave some clean towels. Also the shuttle ride back to the airport, the driver was a very good driver and helpful. Score 2 out of 5 amenities Anonymous, 2005-12-13 for the price i pay to stay at the Best Western, i would of expected to have a small fridge to keep drinks or food cold. I did like that the heating was working since it was cold in DC. Score 5 out of 5 Motel Robert, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 2005-12-08 When finished my work I liked to go a night clubbad neighborhood, unpunctual the breakfast late and the restaurant open late. Score 4 out of 5 Neat hotel-transportation issues olivier, San Francisco, CA, 2005-11-16 Shuttle drop off is at Pentagon City, right in front of a nice shopping center. There is a shuttle (convienence from the hotel) to the nearest metro station. Unfortunetly seating is limited and shuttle runs only every hours at non rush hours. It also stops running after 10pm, which is way too early. Overall satisfied with the hotel, staff(complementary breakfast is definetly a plus) a better transportation system will make it definetly better. |
