Most recent user reviewsScore 3 out of 5 Adequate for business Stephen, Pittsburgh, PA The room was cramped, and the neighborhood a bit dicey, but they did have wireless and it was clean. You could probably do better. Score 5 out of 5 Good central location robert, Seattle, WA The Gateway shopping center is only a couple of blocks away and it has everything, restaurants, cinemas, Imax theatre and Planetarium. The Plaza at Salt Lake was very comfortable, the room seemed much larger than most with a desk area and a table and two chairs. I liked the fact that the bathroom was large with a nice sink and plenty of hot water. There was adequate space for hanging clothes and there were nice pictures on the walls. The location was very good, only two blocks to my conference center and shopping center. There was also a J.B.'s restaurant attached. Score 5 out of 5 Pefect location James, Springfield, IL I could not have been more pleased with this hotel. It is located right in the center of town, just next to the Salt Lake Temple Square. The hotel gave us the opportunity of adjusting the thermostat for our own room, so we kept it very nice and warm even though it snowed several times during the week and was very cold outside. We had a beautiful view outside our bedroom window on to the front of the hotel and the street outside where we could wake up in the morning and see the snow and watch it often as it fell. We were enchanted. Score 5 out of 5 friendly! Anonymous The hotel is right at the center of down town. The wireless internet connection is ewxtremely slow. Sometimes, it would be disconnected! The restaurant have very reasonable price. Score 5 out of 5 Very pleasant Joseph, San Diego, CA Nice, clean and quiet. Nothing fancy, probably a staging area for young people going on their missions. Centrally located right next to a light rail stop, around the corner from the family research library, near Temple Square and ZCMI shopping center. Parking adjacent, covered and inexpensive. Score 2 out of 5 possably 3 star in th 80's Theresa, 2007-02-27 We thought we were getting a 3 star but lucky to get a one star the spa was broke down the pool out of order and to take a shower you needed ear plugs to shut out the rattling of the pipes. The window was falling a part with screw laying on the floor and at the front desk they really couldn't take care of you all of the ones we dealt with were under age. I definetly would not recomend this to a friend Score 5 out of 5 Great Location Anonymous, Dallas, TX, 2007-02-23 Be prepared to walk a distance for other eating options. Also, remember the blocks in Salt Lake City are very long. The staff were very helpful. They also assisted us in finding and renting ski equipment near by. The hotel was quiet and the location was excellent. It is across the street from Temple Square and on the same block as the Family History Library. You can walk one block to catach the ski bus each morning. We were disappointed that the fitness center only consisted of a treadmill and an eliptical machine. There is a sitting area off the lobby where you can read. There are also a couple of desks where you can set up your computer and work. The rooms were not fancy but they were comfortable. Overall we were very pleased with the hotel and would certainly return again. Score 4 out of 5 Great Location Debra, Minneapolis, MN, 2007-02-08 The Plaza Hotel had very basic rooms, clean, but could have used a little updating. The Hotel staff was very helpful and polite. Dining within the hotel was limited, but the hotel was located in such a great spot that you could easily travel to a resteraunt nearby. I thought the parking accomadations were fine, but with very limited access to the hotel. It made for a longer walk back to the hotel from the parking garage, not convienient if you have a lot of luggage. Score 5 out of 5 Review Anonymous, 2007-02-07 Score 5 out of 5 Very nice Craig, 2007-02-06 Nice restaurant right next door,Nice hotel. Great location downtown. Easy walking distance. |
