The crown burger is right next door and if you haven't ever eaten there I recommend trying it and order the crown burger meal. Awesome burger like nowhere else I know!We had a King size bed. The room was nice size and it was clean. A little dated but not bad. The breakfast included cold cereal, donuts, bagels, some fruit, toast and juice. The food would of been fine for us but there wasn't enough seats and most people were standing around eating or taking it back to their rooms. We chose the hotel because it seemed to be the closest to energy solutions center (formally Delta Center) for a concert we were going to. It was perfect. The map made it seem like it was farther away but anyone could make that walk and you wont find closer parking anywhere. When you figure in the cost of parking somewhere else this hotel was a bargain. We will definately be staying there again. Score 5 out of 5 great location at a reasonable rate Anonymous short walk to shopping area but not much of a nightlife in downtown salt lake.It was within walking distance of downtown attractions and was reasonably priced. Score 4 out of 5 Review Anonymous, 2007-03-09 No review provided by user Score 5 out of 5 Review Pierre, Burbank, CA, 2006-10-20 Shopping and great diningScore 2 out of 5 Upgrades needed Anonymous, 2006-08-23 Some attention needs to be paid to the comfort of the rooms: the pillows are completely lacking any support, the chairs are very uncomfortable, and the temperature of the water in the sink and shower fluctuates to a huge degree depending on other showers, toilets flushing, etc. throughout the building. (I was scalded.) The practice of charging for use of the room's safe if you aren't going to use it is highly questionable: you have to remember to ask them to remove the charges as you check out. How many people check out without asking for this credit due them? Although it is convenient to where I needed to go, the neighborhood is not one where I was comfortable being out alone. I won't be back. Score 4 out of 5 good for airport transportation Anonymous, Austin, TX, 2006-08-16 1. The magnificent temple is just about one block away and it's easy to take its picture at night. 2. Walmart super store is just a few blocks south. It's especially good for us as we were heading to yellowstone national park and need to pack our car with plenty of food and water. The location of the hotel makes it easy for aireport transportation. The room is small but clean. Good for a short stay. Score 5 out of 5 Good value near FHL Bruce, Los Angeles, CA, 2006-05-06 There's a large and diverse selection of restaurants a short walk away behind the grand old Union Station.Quite reasonably priced, the room was plain, but reasonably spacious, comfortable and quiet. The staff was friendly. I would have liked a desk in my room, but there was a small round table that worked. It is conveniently located two blocks from the FHL and a short walk to the Union Station mall with its wide array of restaurants, etc. Although I rented a car, it has an airport van that will pick you up without charge. The airport is no more than 15 minutes away. They serve a simple buffet breakfast in the lobbby. I would definitely stay there again when in Salt Lake for the FHL. Score 5 out of 5 Review Anonymous, 2006-02-26 We loved it, it was so close to the Delta Center, and the Utah Jazz game that we were able to walk. It was great.Score 5 out of 5 Perfect Delta Center location Anonymous, Newark, NJ, 2005-12-18 Great outdoor shopping mall (built for the Olympics)Located within a 2-minute walking distance to the Delta Center, this property is perfect for the quick stay in SLC to see a game/concert. Quiet, clean, and a solid value. No frills/no fuss--just to-be-expected simplicity and sincerity on the part of hotel management and staff. |
