The food is great!! Try the Filet Medalions wrapped in bacon - delicious!The hotel rooms were very clean and comfortable. While the hotel does not have a lot of amenities (ie no restaurant, fitness center, etc) one must remember that they are in the very small town of Kanab, Utah. The hotel was booked to capacity due to a Western Movie/Cowboy Appreciation Days which had conservatively tripled the population of Kanab, yet the staff seem to take it all into stride. We arrive at the continental breakfast about 15 minutes before they shut it down for the day and the food was excellent with adequate amounts to serve all of the guests. Score 5 out of 5 Very good value Anonymous, 2006-06-10 zion National park is only 13 miles away and is worth anyone's time to see. Fartehr away (about 80 miles), but similarly worthwhile is the North Rim of Grand Canyon.My wife and I and the other couple traveling with us all reacted very positively to the Kanab, Utah Shilo Inn. The price was right, the room was spacious and clean and the continental breakfast was well-stocked, even for late-comers. |
