Score 4 out of 5 Review Keith Food and CasinoScore 4 out of 5 Great location Freddie Don't expect much when it comes to the free breakfast but the good news is there are plenty of good places close by to get one!I liked the location, which is in a short walking distance of of a Subway shop and a 7/11 store and is also very close to the casinos which are about a 1/2 mile away. The room I stayed at had plenty of space but the bathroom was on the small side with very little counter space. The bed, which was king sized was comfortable and the room was clean and well kept. As far as the free breakfest goes on the first day it was late by one hour and as for the doughnuts, well as it turned out were only very small blueberry muffins. On the second day the coffee was a half hour late but this time there were not even muffins to eat which just wasn't right because they sould have them there for you! In all the motel is a good value for the money, nothing fancy but still a decent place to stay. They let me check in early, and I enjoyed the hot tub after ski. It's within walking distance to the state line where all the big casinos, shops, and restaurants are located. At Heavenly Village you can take a breathtaking gondola ride up the mountain to the Heavenly Valley resort with its many winter activities.The property and rooms are basic but still clean and comfortable, and the staff is helpful and friendly. It's a very good value when you compare the rates at nearby establishments, as long as you're not expecting many amenities. If you don't leave your room by about 11 am, there's chance it might not get serviced for the day, as the cleaning staff finishes in the early afternoon. No juice, fruit nor other type of breakfast item such as bagels. We ended up paying for breakfast on the road because 2 mini muffins was not going to hold us on the slopes for the morning! We did enjoy the jacuzzi tub in the room. That was very relaxing. The overall building has an old feel to it, but things in the room, such as carpet, the toilet, were in good shape. The continential breakfast consisted of one type of mini muffin, and that's it! We checked out after the first night. |
