As we were leaving, my friend asked me, "So, considering the price (very, very low), thumbs up or thumbs down?" "Thumbs up" I said. "So, would you stay here again." "NO WAY!"

no hot water, no heat and cigarette burns on the sheets.....

The IHOP down the street gives nice, fast service, even with the large numbers of skiers stopping in before heading to the mountains we were in and seated in minutes. (Parking is tough though!)

Not a very enjoyable stay at this Travel Inn in Lake Tahoe - The 2 bedroom suite we were staying in had no door between the second bedroom and the bathroom. The heaters were pathetic, requiring one to stand inches away to feel any warmth. The bed in the first bedroom had cigarette burns in the sheets and the couch had unidentified stains. When we told the hotel manager that we had no hot water in the shower, we were told that we actually did and that we just weren't turning on the hot water properly. It sure would have been nice if he had told us what we were doing wrong instead of just insisting that we actually DID have hot water and we just didn't know it. The only positive to this place is that it's 30 minutes walking distance from any of the five casinos on the Boulevard (but then again, there are a BUNCH of other better hotels for perhaps the same price range that are even closer - and cleaner!).

Decent restaurants next door.

Cheap room for Tahoe but rather dumpy. Room was not ready when we arrived at 5 pm. Room heater took 2 hours to warm room.

Small but nice which it's closed to the Lake for 2-minute drive.

Shopping and skiing within walking distance

Good stay for price

Heavenly Valley Ski area is only bout 4 miles away and was one of the reasons we chose this motel.

The manager took a real interest in us and was very accomodating. The hotel was clean, but basic. We were trying to keep our cost low, so this was a good option. We were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our stay.

1.This facility is right next door to a great resturant and pub, the best food ever. 2.This facility is centerally located within blocks of the casinos and clubs and within walking distance to Lake Tahoe. 3.This facility is within a short drive to the factory outlets and there are some great deals to be had there.

The Travel Inn is conviently located close to the ski resorts, resturants, the casinos and the lake. The rooms are easy to access an move around in. I enjoyed being able to use the spa after a long day.
