Clubs, Casinos, and restaurants are close by. Many options.

The Avalon Lodge was not in the nicest area. However, it was relatively close to the casinos and the downtown area. The room was great. Very nice and comfortable bed, large jucuzzi tub, and very nice and classy decor. Definitely recommend.

A lovely hotel with a lot of charm. The be was very comfortable and it was quite luxurious for the price.

The Avalon Lodge was overall a great place to stay. The front desk staff was helpful when we called for directions last minute and later when we checked in. The room was great! The decor was beautiful and the room spacious, I liked that it had a small table and two chairs. The bed was very comfortable, and the sheets and towels were higher quality then you normally find. Did not get a chance to use the pool or spa, although from passing they both looked nice. I was a little disappointed that the fireplace was not a traditional woodfired but an automatic gas fireplace. The Lodge's location is also an attribute. It's a block or two off the main strip, closer down to the Lake. So if you're looking for some peace and quiet this is the place. The Lodge also provides you with a beach pass, which is only a short walk. Overall the Avalon Lodge was a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it.

Staff was very cordial. The location is within walking distance from Nevada hotels and Heavenly gondola. Small, few services, a bit old, but jacuzzi works and gas fireplace in the room.
