Would be a good spot for a weekend get away with a significant other.
The "Americana Village" in South Lake Tahoe came as quite the suprise for myself and my travel companions. This hotel was not too far from downtown and although the outside looked a bit rough, the room was very nice. It had a small fridge and coffee pot, and the bathroom had two shower heads in a stand up stall, that was quite relaxing. It did not have a tub, but I'm sure the hot tub by the pool area would have been nice enough to soak in (I didn't get the apportunity). The room was somewhat small, so a larger family may feel somewhat crowded. All in all, it was a good experience and a nice stay.
