Anonymous, 2005-08-06 There is a lot to do in the area. Flaming Gorge is about 40 miles to the North and Dinosaur National Monument is about 15 miles Southwest. There is a great Dinosaur Museum in Vernal, and the JB's restaurant has good food at a low price. There is a Super Wal-Mart in vernal in case you forget something. If you plan on floating down the green river once inside the Dinosaur National Park, check wCheck in was listed as 3pm on my reservation. I got there in the early afternoon and had no problem checking in. I thought that was excellent! After check in, how old the room looked disappointed me. It was very small, and had holes in the wall where there once was a hanging lamp. I went over to the air conditioner and there was a note on it that said not to turn it past 7 or else it would freeze. I was warm all night because the air conditioner didn't do a good enough job. The bathroom was very small and plaster was falling off the ceiling right above the shower. Overall, the entire room needed to be updated and overhauled. The hotel did have a swimming pool, but the heater was broken. The pool was very cold and it was very dirty. That is all for the negatives... The positives are that the room had great television with full cable including HBO. The room also included some unexpected amenities like a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. A continental breakfast was offered (get there early while supplies last). My highest marks go to the hotel staffs that are very friendly. Score 2 out of 5 Unsatisfyed customer Anonymous, El Bolson, 2005-07-03 I thought the room would be in beter condition. The air conditioner did not work. The pool was not open until the day we left. When we arrived for check in the amount quoted was not what we paid and the computers were not working. The room was not cleaned completey. And also it was very loud in the morning when the staff of the hotel woke us up. It was the most uncomfortable place to stay in my expirence. |
