My review of La Quinta Inn Waco University

This hotel is just a few blocks from Baylor University.

Overall, the room and bathroom were clean. However, when you ran water from the shower there was a strong smell of mold. The room also had a slightly moldy smell. Also, the television reception was terrible. Every station was all snowy. We checked in late and didn't shower or turn on the TV until the morning so there was no point in reporting it to the staff.

Mold in rooms

A variety of dining and shopping were a short drive from the hotel

3 rooms, had to move from one because of the mold on the ceiling and walls of the bathroom. Next room still had mold, but it wasn't as extensive or noticeable. The other rooms had microwaves/refrigerators, requested one on Friday was told it would be there by Saturday, still wasn't there on Monday when we left.
