The free internet use also made us all very happy. The lacation is great and from check in to valet parking everyone made us feel at home away from home. The restaurant and bars of Riverwalk are also close by.I was so incredibly impressed with the Hotel Valencia Riverwalk that I will make sure it is the place I stay when I visit San Antonio. The rooms were extremely clean, well furnished, and, most importantly, comfortable. It is centrally located to the Riverwalk district, Riverview Mall, and the Alamo. (There was no need to use a car as everything was in walking distance.) Impressive hotel! It's also an easy, 5 block walk to The Alamo.The Hotel Valencia has very comfortable beds, and a relaxing feel to the room which had a leather chair and ottoman for reading or watching TV. San Antionio has a great trolley system, all within minutes from the hotel. I highly recommend and give it a two thumbs up.Overall this hotel was modern, sleek and very comfortable. We had a little problem at the start as our room keys would not work (twice) but we finally got in. The rooms are large and very modern with great lighting. The locationon the Riverwalk was very convenient. The happy hour crowd was friendly and up-scale. Staff was great! It has a lovely decor and waterfalls all the lobby and lounge area. The room was very comfortable, beautiful furniture and a faux mink cover on the bed. The staff was very freindly and being downtown on the riverwalk was just lovely. Take the tour on the boats.The Valenca was great, rooms were very comfortable. Hotel staff is very helpful and took care of every detail. The hotel is off the main flow of tourist from the riverwalk, which offers quite patio seating. The walk to the main area of the riverwalk is only around the conner where everything you need can be found. We had great room service available 24 hours a day. The hotel is in a great location for accessing the Riverwalk. The staff went out of their way to help us in a small personal crisis we had and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the San Antonio area. |
