It is a fabulous restaurant just about 3 miles away. The Best Western Garden Inn was a great place to stay on our recent business trip to San Antonio. It's location was very convenient to visit our clients, as well as some really great restaurants. The fitness center was also very nice. The equipment was high quality and something I would expect to see at a large gym. The staff was very personable and extremely helpful. When an ice storm was moving in, they were more than ready to accommodate us if we needed to stay longer. I would definitely go back to this Best Western and will recommend it highly to everyone headed to San Antonio. Score 5 out of 5 Clean room Anonymous, Kansas City, MO, 2007-02-18 Make sure you know how the frontage roads in Texas work. Shopping is on the other side of freeway! The Best Western Garden Inn was found to be clean and in good repair. However our in-room coffee maker did not work at first. The staff replaced it even though it took a while for them to come and get it(after 11 a.m.). It was great to have facial tissues in the tissue dispenser and an extra roll of toilet paper that has gone by the wayside in some other chains. The heater stayed on all the time, a little hard to control the heat. Sometimes felt cold, sometimes too hot. Overall, our stay was pleasant. Score 4 out of 5 Close to the Verizon Amphitheater Anonymous, Austin, TX, 2006-08-27 Verizon Amphitheater for concertsWe chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Verizon Amphitheater. The price was comparable to others in the area. Only problem with our room was the bathroom door hit the toilet every time you opened and closed it. Otherwise, it was fine for our purposes. |
