The hotel's location in Northwest San Antonio gives it quick access to the medical center and the hill country. The hotel property and rooms are rather basic, but clean and safe. We used the handicap room which was great with easy entry shower and grab rails. I would certainly use this property again. We also enjoyed the Alamo and the River Walk in downtown San Antonio, which was also a thirty to forty minute drive from the hotel.The room was clean and comfortable, but basic. I especially liked the interior courtyard where the pool and hot tub were; they were closed off from the noise of the adjacent freeway. The facility was quiet; we heard little noise from other guests. The continental breakfast was very adequate, with a nice choice of items and the food was fresh. The fitness room was a little disappointing because it did not have a television - there was a mount for it but no television. And there was no exercise bike, just a treadmill and stepper, and universal gym. However, that was a relatively minor drawback. For any dining other than breakfast, or any shopping, a car was necessary to get on the freeway to the nearest restaurants and shops. It has no internet access. There was garbage under the dresser when we checked in, and it was still there when we checked out. The beds were comfortable and maintained well. All in all this is not a motel I would stay in again, it is too much money for what you get.
