Most recent user reviewsScore 2 out of 5 Clean but very small Anonymous, Oakland, CA The Air Force Base is nearby. The room we stayed in at the Best Value San Antonio was clean but very small. It would have been nice if the plastic cups had been replaced daily. We had to run the fan on the air conditioner each night to drown out the noises so that we could sleep and though it is close to the Air Force Base the neighborhood is not the best. The free Continental Breakfast is a little misleading and was only coffee and donuts if you were lucky and got there in time. The hotel was full but they only put out a limited number of fresh donuts and if you missed those you got a packaged pastry. Score 1 out of 5 Disappointing, to Say the Least m, Boise, ID, 2005-11-06 Best Value Inn was very small, pictures on internet were quite deceiving. I felt cramped. The girl who checked me in was very pleasant, the best part of the stay in fact. Door was difficult to unlock and in fact had to put down what was in my hands so I could use both hands to wiggle handle of door. Felt especially nervous at night because it was not in a very safe part of town. When I asked for an ironing board and iron, which I expected to be in the room, both were broken and I had to mess with them in order to use them. There were not enough hangers to hang up clothes. I was there 4 nights. The continental breakfast was coffee and packaged rolls on a small counter next to check in area. Third morning I was there I asked for a wakeup call which never came making me late for an appointment. It was close to where I needed to be. In summary, I was extremely disappointed and will certainly not trust what I see and read about these relatively unknown motels. Score 4 out of 5 NOT VERY FAMILY ORIENT Brenda, Santa Fe, 2005-08-10 THERE IS A DENNY'S A SHORT DISTANCE AWAY.IT WAS GOODTHERE WERE VERY FEW PATRONS AT THIS HOTEL THE GRANDKIDS WERE HOPING FOR A POOL BUT WE WERE GOING TO SEA WORLD SO IT REALLY DIDN'T MATTER.FOR THE PRICE AND BEING PRETTY CLOSE TO SEA WORLD IS WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR .WE ALL HAD A GOOD TIME Score 1 out of 5 Bad part of Town! Anonymous, 2005-07-10 This motel was somewhat clean however, the air conditioner unit was so loud that we didn't sleep all night. At night, we didn't notice too much of the neighborhood however, in the day, it was very obvious that it was located in a very bad part of town. The hotel was very hard to find off the freeway. The staff was pleasant enough. |
