After a long day of sightseeing in beautiful San Antonio, came relax around our brand new outdoor swimming pool. We are steps away from the SBC Center, Fort Sam Houston, and Splashtown Water Park. The SBC Center is home of the NBA Champions, San Antonio Spurs. The SBC Center is where the annual San Antonio Rodeo Stock Show is held as well as many other major concerts and events. We are also in close proximity to major attractions such as the Alamo, Downtown Riverwalk, Alamodome, Sea World of Texas, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, San Antonio Zoo, major shopping malls, medical/research centers and the San Antonio Airport.

After we were moved late first night, blow dryer in room didn't work and iron didn't work either. Beds were extremely hard. Restroom door was dingy. I would not stay at this hotel again. Beer, wine, soft drinks, tea and coffee available. Free refills except beer/wine.This motel had recently changed ownership and was still undergoing renovation; however, the room was extremely clean, the bed was comfort- able -- neither to soft nor to hard -- and the continental breakfast (available only on week- ends during our stay) was more than adequate. Myonly complaint -- which I provided to manage- ment was 'no closet/hanger space in the room'. The management apologized (pointing out that renovation was incomplete) and offered another room; however, I have trouble walking/climbing stairs and the only available vacancies at the time were on the 2nd floor; therefore, I declined the offer, preferring to stay on the ground floor. Overall evaluation: Excellent. When renovation is complete, should be in the OUTSTANDING class. Such as the Alamo, the River Walk, etc.....The Americas Best Value Inn was a very nice and up to standard stay! We loved the service from the staff and the location of the hotel. I was very comfortable and relaxed in the room I was in; and to add it was very well kept. I would definietly stay there again and recommend it to friends! |
