Score 1 out of 5 No record of my reservation robert, Portland, ME, 2005-09-13 I arrived at the hotel late, due to chaos at Houston's Bush Airport. There were no rental cars available, despite reservations. When I finally was driven to the airport in the rental agency's shuttle van, the night watchman had no record of my reservation, and there was no room. There was no available hotel desk clerk. Luckily, the shuttle bus driver took pity on me, and as there were no rooms to be found anywhere in Houston due to Katrina, he let me keep the shuttle bus to sleep in. So I spent the night sleeping in the bus. I tried that night and the next day to contact the hotel, but they never answered their phone, and never responded to the message I left. I don't yet know if I was charged for the night. All in all, a less than satisfying experience. I had to check all the categories to complete the review, but i have no idea about amenities, cleanliness, etc., because I never set foot inside. Score 1 out of 5 Disappointment Luis, 2005-08-29 When I arrived on Friday 8/19/05, I found the hotel front desk closed. There was a s ecurity guard that checked me in. When I entered my room, it smelled like pure cigarette smoke.... This was totally unacceptable. I elected not to stay at the hotel, and then I was informed that I had signed a contract, and breaking the contract I would be charged the full amount of the purchase, and not offered a refund. In short I had to pay for a hotel, that I only remained in overnight. I will never recommened this property to any friends, and will definately not stay at this site on future trips to the Houston area.
