The front desk staff was very friendly, helpful, and answered all my questions. The hotel room was just the right size and the temp in the room was just right. It was relatively cheap, and had vacancies, so I went for it. The second I unlocked my door, I was overwhelmed with the smell of mold/mildew. It was disgusting, but I knew that all other rooms and all other hotels were sold out, so I let it go. Also, the chain lock on my door was broken. The hotel had no restaurants, but there was a 24-hour diner right next door. I did find a free wireless internet connection, and they had HBO. My total stay was approximately 11 hours, and it served me better than sleeping on the airport floor. I did.The Ramada Limited Intercontinental Airport South is perfectly located if you wish to be in the airport neighbourhood. It is actually on the airport exit drive. It could not get any easier than that. It is well situated to visit Houston or other areas. The staff is helpful and organised. The rooms have refrigerators and microwaves which is always a plus. I loved that they has refrigerated water for sale at reception as I always forget to have enough. The breakfasts were wholesome. More than I expected. I definitely would stay here again as it is good value for money and a location. I had a nice quite, clean room with comfortable temperatures. Transportation system from airport was very nice and kind to weary travelers. The location was wonderfullly close to the airport. Dining options were in the room and had a great selection. |
