Our rooms are oversized each with micro-fridge, in-room safe, coffee maker, hairdryer, ironing board and iron and over 60 cable channels including 3 HBO' channels. Location is central to theater district, Minute Maid Park, Toyota Center, George R. Brown Convention Center and museum district. Downtown Aquarium is less than 1 mile.

The room seemed larger than most hotel rooms and was well maintained. The hotel was in walking distance of downtown but in a neighborhood that didn't feel safe after dark. They had a shuttle service in the a.m. and p.m. (until 7 p.m.) which was great. My only concern with this hotel was that it did not have a restaurant -- so no room service. (I had a bad cold while there and would have appreciated ordering a bowl of soup in the evenings.) They had a free breakfast (good) buffet in the mornings and (free) cocktails in the evening. Otherwise, the price, location, and size of the room make this a good deal, if you can manage to sleep in the bed.
