Very friendly staff

The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to try to satisfy our accomodations. Provided free shuttle to the airport and very helpful with locating restaurants nearby. They even gave us a ride to pick up our carry out order! The maintenance needed some upkeep. The phone in the room was not working and we made several attempts with the front desk to correct the situation which were unsuccessful. The shower handle was somewhat loose and it went on easy enough but we had a very difficult time trying to turn it off. Took several minuets to get it turned off. Our check in was alittle messed up as well. When we checked in, I had just been released from surgery. I had requested a wheelchair accessable (1st floor) room as steps were a problem for me. The first room they gave us was on the second floor with no elevator. When I inquired about a room on the 1st floor within minuets they got me a second room. Upon entering the second room it was unmade. No phone, no tv, not freshly cleaned and a big hole in the wall where there use to be an airconditioner. Could actually see/hear/feel the outside breeze. Apparently the staff had already discovered the error as they met my husband on the way to the office already aware of the situation. Within 10 minuets they reinspected yet a 3rd room and that was the room we stayed in for our visit. The staff was MORE than eager to correct the problems and appoligized for the inconviences. Would go back again but would not be supprised if I had to change rooms due to renovations? Human error as to the availablitie and readyness. Overall the hotel was roomy, clean, and very friendly staff.
