Bastrop offers a wide range of activities including the Bastrop Opera House that has been serving the community for over 107 years. There you can enjoy festivals, theater productions, arts and craft fairs and many more year round events. In Bastrop, historical homes and buildings abound. Our hotel is just 28 miles south of the state capital of Austin and only a mile and a half from Lake Bastrop Park where you can enjoy swimming, hiking and camping. The park is situated on 3,500 acres and features the 'Lost Pines of Texas,' from which parts of the state capitol building were built. For more hiking trails, playgrounds and picnicking fun, there is Buescher State Park 15 miles away. The Best Western Inn of the Pines extends a warm Texas welcome to all guests!
Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 My review of Best Western Inn of the Pines John, Indianapolis, IN Most amenities could be found with a short drive. The motel was clean, neat and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The staff did a load of laundry for us since there was none available for public use. Hardly any amenities available other than a continental breakfast. The bathroom was separate from the vanity area. The ceilings seemed unusually and uneconomically higher than normal for a rather new motel. The value for the room rates seem very satisfactory. Score 2 out of 5 Poor Parking! David, Midland, TX, 2006-09-03 The hotel lobby smells horrible when you arrive. The parking was situation was poor, and the motel only has parking for about half of their guest. The other guest will be parking across the street, and the walk to my room with bags was about 300 yards. My room had 2 double beds. There were 2 small bath towels supplied with the room. The shower did not drain properly, and the security latch had been ripped off of the door to my room. Overall this motel was poorly built and is poorly maintained. I travel frequently and this was my worst experience in 5 years. There are plenty of other options in the area, stay away from this one. Score 5 out of 5 very family freindly oralia, 2006-07-29 restaurants and shopping were about two minutes away which was greati was very satisfied with service and the room comfort would recommend to my freinds . i like the amenities in the room .
