Most recent user reviewsScore 2 out of 5 Poor maintenance Pamela, Amarillo, TX The Room we were given had a horrible smell to it. Mold and Mildew. It looked like perhaps the room above or plumbing had leaked and you could see where they had tried to repair it and the tub in the bathroom as well, along the wall and floor. The smell was terrible. The check in people were nice. We were terribly disappointed in the motel. We have stayed at super 8 before in other places and they have been fine. The linen had an odor to it as well. We slept on top of the bed with our own blanket. We were very disappointed. The weather was very bad and we had come in very late. We figured there was not much chance of getting a different room. We did not report it to anyone. We just lived with it and went on as it was only for one night. The smell of the room was nauseating. It was a non smoking room. There were holes in the bed spread that looked like cigarette burn holes. No kleenex in the room at all. the metal thing were it would have been was empty. The tub had someones' hair in it. We were just overall disappointed. Score 4 out of 5 Friendly Staff Anonymous Although in a rougher neiborhood, this was a nice motel. It is located across from a CVS which was very conveinent. The staff was quite accomadating. I would stay here again. Score 3 out of 5 Lamb Of God concert visit Anonymous, 2007-02-19 Over priced considering the condition and cleanliness of room and property. Score 3 out of 5 Good Location Anonymous, Dallas, TX, 2007-02-04 Within a couple of minutes of 4th and 6th Streets, as well as a couple of minutes of UT Austin Campus. The location was within minutes of everywhere I wanted to be in Downtown Austin. However, being on the east side of Interstate 35 the neighborhood wasn't that great, and there wasn't enough parking. I was encouraged to park in an unlit vacant lot across the street by the Motel's security guard, and when I complained the manager allowed me to park my truck in the fire-lane. I'll look for other amenities for my next visit.
