You can find just about any kind of dining you want a few minutes south on I-35.

The Super 8 Motel South was a comfortable, clean and friendly place to stay. The motel is fairly new, so it doesn't show any marks of wear. Our room was large and comfortable and included a microwave and refridgerator, which we found very handy. The bathroom and closet are your standard Super 8 fare. There was an ironing board and iron available in our room, which was nice. The cleaning staff does an excellent job keeping the facility clean, however, they did not replace disposable cups or soaps in the bathroom. We finally had to ask for new soap at the front desk. The exercise room included an eliptical trainer, treadmill and recumbant bike. It was small but useful for getting a little exercise or just unwinding from the day. Offerings for the continental breakfast were pretty standard. The desk staff were very friendly. Check in was quick and easy. The location of this motel is good if you are going to be in or around downtown Austin but do not want to pay downtown hotel prices. Depending on traffic you can be downtown from the motel in 10-15 minutes. There are also shopping and dining options within 10-15 minutes south of the hotel on I-35.
