Most recent user reviewsScore 2 out of 5 Smelly Anonymous This was my first hotel visit here and I thought it was going to be a good one. It wasn't horrible, but not great either. I was in a non-smoking room, but when I entered the hallway, you can immediately smell smoke. That was the worst part. The ice machine was pretty far from my room. It would've been more convenient if it were closer. There weren't many restaurants close by the hotel. I was in a hurry to come back to the hotel to catch a TV show. I drove around for a while and finally found a McDonald's inside a Walmart, which I wasn't too thrilled to try, but had no choice. Score 3 out of 5 Communication problems Anonymous It was frustrating that most of the hotel staff only spoke Spanish. I found this very rude. I would not recommend this hotel because of that. Score 3 out of 5 under construction Jeremy, Atlanta, GA, 2007-02-02 this hotel is under maintenance or remodel, i would stay away from at all cost. or at least call to find out more. i stayed early feb and the hot water didnt work, Score 2 out of 5 Paint fumes Anonymous, Dallas, TX, 2006-08-23 Two people there ahead of me could not get their room entry cards to work. The kind desk attendant said she would accompnay all three of us to the third floor to make sure we got into our rooms. She was very perky and nice. Two of the cards did not work. I did not even try mine because there were paint buckets and rollers and plastic for 25 feet beyond my room down the rest of the hall. She said my room had just been painted. I said I would not be able to stay in it becuase of the paint fumes. She kindly went down to get the other cards recharged and a new room assignment for me. I tried the new room for a few minutes, but it was so noisy because of the Interstate, that I went downstairs and requested another room on the back side of the hotel. I finally entered that room about 1:15 a.m.. It felt like it was 98 degrees.I decided to stay in it anyway and just turn up the a/c and take a cold shower until it coooled off. I finally got to bed about 2:00 a.m. The sink stopper did not work, toilet flapper needed changing--noisy all night. Telephone did not operate and I could not call the front desk to complain about it. The bed and pillows were just great and had new bedcoverings, but the sheets had cigarette holes. The room was clean, the TV worked well, a/c worked well, no paint fumes, but a newly painted room. Breakfast was good. I appreiciated the boiled eggs. Found a cigarette on the floor of the room. Wasn't worth the money Score 1 out of 5 Review Cary, Spring Point, 2005-09-23 No review provided by user |
