Easy access to all major expressways as well as the airport. Score 3 out of 5 It was OK Anonymous, Seattle, WA, 2005-05-15 Our stay just didn't get off to a good start--because of our flight we didn't check in until almost midnight, and were given a room with 2 queen beds despite having requested a king. The desk clerk was less than apologetic, saying "we guarantee a room, not the kind of room." Also, no crib was ready for us despite our advance request, and we had a tired and crabby toddler with us. The only room left was a handicap-accessible on the third floor, and it was really a dingy, dreadful room. The next day we upgraded to a room with 1 king bed on the 14th floor with a view of the river, and it was quite nice and worth the extra money for the view. However, we faced another disappointment when the pool was closed that evening for a private party--at the only time we had planned to use it. And, finally, on the third night, the hotel hosted a prom. It closed by midnight, so was not too bad, but it was certainly not a quiet evening. Overall, the hotel was fine--the view was nice, the pool was nice, and the rooms were clean. The room service food left a little to be desired, and the series of events during our stay left me feeling like I would try somewhere else next time.
