Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 No amenities hotel Anonymous Food shopping was done at an Albertson's on the other side of the divided highway which had everything you'd want and more. This is a no amenitites hotel with no restaurant within close proximity. The rooms were large and very comfortably furnished with fully equiped kitchen inculing a full size refrigerator so if you just need a place to stay at night, it's fine but probably too bare bones for many others as it was for me. Score 5 out of 5 Great Weekend Value Anonymous, 2007-03-04 The staff were outstanding and very knowledgeable about the local area. They quickly problem solved a parking problem for our travel trailer. The room was large, confortable and clean. The wireless internet worked and was trouble free. The kitchen was functional and well equiped. The bath was large and clean. Location was easy to find from interstate 35 if you use US 281. Score 5 out of 5 More than expected Anonymous, 2007-03-04 The country club is only a five minute drive away with little to no traffic.Crestwood Suites turned out to be more than I expected. The layout was great and the room ammenities made the stay absolutely wonderful. It was very close to the tournament site my girlfriend played in and was in a very nice area. The full kitchen and bed were both excellent and some of the best accomadations I have had in a hotel in a long time. If I am to visit Austin again, I am definately making it a preferance to stay at this hotel again. Truly professional. Score 4 out of 5 Very helpful staff Terry, 2007-02-25 Cheadders was just down the street about half a mile and Texas Road House right next to Cheadders also Sam's Club and Cosco's was only a little over a mile back toward Austin so that was handy too.were very satisfied with our stay and the employees were very friendly. Only complaint that we would have is some of the other guest were a little louder than we liked. That is something that you would not blame Crestwood Suites for. Had very large room and bath and tought was really clean place to stay. Would stay there again if the arose in the future Score 5 out of 5 My review of Crestwood Suites - Austin Anonymous, 2007-02-23 I enjoyed my stay at the Crestwood Suites in Austin. It was a great place to stay and the staff was very accomodating. The room was just what I needed with a kitchen and desk area. I loved being able to make free long distance phone calls and to have internet access. My only complaints were that the refrigerator made a lot of noise and the bedspread and pillows smelled. i'd also like to suggest that they have a map of Austin available so that a visitor could get diections from the hotel staff. It was a great value and i would stay there again. Score 4 out of 5 Not the best location Anonymous, 2007-02-11 But for the money, it was fine. It's about 20 miles outside of downtown Austin, and it feels like it's in a bad part of town, but I think it's okay...it's just not an attractive area. The facilities are fine, and the two-bedroom suite was exactly what we needed. I'd recommend it to anybody who isn't too picky about where they stay. Score 5 out of 5 Great overall deal Anonymous, Dallas, TX, 2007-02-04 There are plenty of dining and shopping opportunities nearby - but a vehicle is very beneficial as most are more than walking distance. This hotel was exactly what I was looking for - a clean, comfortable room with kitchen facilities at a good price and convenient location. The bed was very confortable and the refrigerator was full size. Even though it is on a major highway, road noise was not a problem. I would stay here again in the future. Score 2 out of 5 Long Term Lodging for Construction Workers Anonymous, 2006-12-08 The target clientele for this hotel is male workers in construction. The amenities in the rooms are minimal, and there is little effort to provide for the comfort of the guests. As a single woman traveler, I did not feel comfortable here, and in fact, I checked out after the first night of my three-night stay in Austin. Score 5 out of 5 Good experience at Crestwood Suites Frank, Houston, TX, 2006-11-26 Rudy's Country Store & Bar-B-Q is about three miles from the hotel. It's a great place to go for breakfast tacos or barbeque. You can get take out and come back to your room, or enjoy your meal at Rudy'sWe enjoyed our stay at Crestwood Suites. The room was comfortable, with a queen size bed and a kitchen area which allowed us to prepare food for ourselves or to bring in breakfast from outside. There is no restaurant, but that was not a problem because of convenient local restaurants and a nearby Albertson's market. I would recommend Crestwood Suites to friends.
