Open Road Publishing Texas Guide **Best Place to Stay in Lubbock** Pleasant, well maintained two-story structure around a central courtyard with pool. We have 84 assorted standard guest rooms and 16 suites. Our Lobby is excellently appointed and finished creating an attractive reception area for guests. Surrounded by five nationally known restaurants and near a Super Wal-Mart the hotel is located in a quiet area perfectly situated for travelers.

The kitchenette was large and the rooms were very quiet. The only negative was that this was a non-smoking room that reeked of stale cigerette smoke. It was a quiet and clean hotel with a nice continental breakfast. Debbie, 2005-06-02 This was a great place to stay. This is my second time staying at the Ashmore Inn and Suites! They allowed me an early check-in and a late check-out. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location of the hotel is great, there is a Applebees, Outback Steakhouse, Wal-mart and other eating places near by. I stayed in a King size suite. It was wonderful! The room was clean and very large. There was a seperate living room/kitchen area and then there was a bedroom. The bathroom was decent size and the vaniety area was seperate from the shower area. I look forward to staying at the Ashmore Inn and Suites again!
