The marina is an easy within easy walking distance.The Best Western Marina Grand was located right on the bay which made everything within easy access. The room was clean and well kept. Some little shops for shopping right across the street.The Best Western Marina Hotel was a very comfortable and nice place to stay with your family. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The location of the hotel was very good. There were several attractions like the Texas State Aquarium, The Lexington and downtown Corpus Christi. We had a great view of the water. I would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends. The construction did not in any affect stay and staff went out of their way to provide me with best room possible. Rooms were good for rate and location is good. The location of this hotel was perfect. we arrived late on Friday evening and got our key. We had to go back to the front desk to get the key activated. After a great day on the beach we returned to the roon to find house keeping did a poor job of cleaning the room. On Sunday we wanted a quick cup of coffee and a piece of toast. The breakfast bar did not any bread remaining or any butter. I ask the hotel staff for it and it took the hotel staff 10 min�s to return with bread and they never returned with the butter. There are other choices in hotel's in the area I will try something else before I return to this hotel. We arrived early and was allowed to check into our room, we were very happy about that! The location is walking distance to the marina and the night life. Friday night was slow but Saturday night was hopping. We are a middle aged couple and the crowd was a bit too young for us to enjoy the clubs but they were busy. There plenty of great places to eat within walking distance.Great seafood and bar right accross the streets! the only thing we felt would be better at this hotel is the painting and general overall upkeep. they do allow pets and we had a little yepping dog during the day for a couple of hours that we werent too happy with. But overall we would book at this hotel again. Great Location!
