Flatiron Cafe (coffee, internet access) is across and down the street just a bit. Nice walkway along the river and a perfect view of a waterfall. The Americas Best Value Inn by the River & Cabins was a nice place to stay at. It is centrally located in the city, and just blocks from some local hot spots. Beatiful scenery. Sandstone architecture just across the street, a scenic walkway with waterfall by the river... heated pool. Staff was helpful when I thought I lost my camera. They went and looked through the room for me when we were already 5 hours down the road. I ended up finding my camera in my car - right where I left it.... in my car! Bottom line, good hotel. Score 4 out of 5 not rustic Jennifer, Denver, CO, 2006-03-13 The room was clean and the shower worked. When we saw the word rustic in its description we thought it would be interesting in the room and it wasn't. There wasn't a coffee pot in the room and it would have been nice to have one. The staff was nice too. We went during a snowstorm and the walks were well maintained. Our major complaint was the contental breakfast the next morning left alot to be desired. I think we would have gotten more amenities by spending an extra few dollars and staying at another one of the hotels in town. |
