Also, it is right on the beach so you have a perfect view of the ocean. The restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. Score 5 out of 5 Great Place To Stay Rose Marie, 2006-11-06 Great location. Nearby shopping and many restaurants.Simple and quick check in. Room was in good order and had lots of great space. Score 5 out of 5 Family friendly hotel Anonymous, 2006-11-05 Turn on 28 Ave. South to get to the hotel. There is a large parking deck, but no up close parking.Awesome ocean view! The hotel is convenient to Barefoot Landing, Tanger Outlet Mall, a nice shopping mall with a Bass Pro Shop attached to it, and numerous excellent restaurants. My children and grandchildren enjoyed the heated, indoor Lazy River. Score 4 out of 5 My review of Bay Watch Resort & Conference curtis, 2006-10-11 mostly pleasant staff spacious room good price good location on the beach. Score 4 out of 5 good location Anonymous, Charlotte, NC, 2006-09-04 Lots of dining and shopping nearby. Barefoot Landing was a short drive away.Room was very large and comfortable, different areas were closed off by doors, which was very nice. However, there was no coffee provided, as we expected of a hotel with a coffeemaker. Also, although there was a full kitchen, there was no detergent nor paper towels provided. Had to call housekeeping to clean the room, and then they did not bring clean towels. Pool area was very nice with plenty of chairs and space. Really enjoyed the poolside bar with live music. I would come back to this property. Score 5 out of 5 Review Anonymous, 2006-09-04 No review provided by user Score 4 out of 5 Positives and Negatives Anonymous, 2006-07-29 There were some plus and minuses for this particular hotel. The room were clean, bright and very accommadating. The reservation staff, all of them, seemed to not want to be at the front desk. The front desk is the first impression visitors get of Mrtle beach, what a disappointment for the guests! These girls need to be more welcoming, cordial and verbal with the guests, and not exude such a negative attitude. Another issue that needs addressed are the swimming pools. Upon entering the indoor pool I slipped on slime/algea build up on the steps, and scrapped the top of by foot. This could be a litigation issue if not resolved by maintenance staff. Overall, I enjoyede Myrtle Beach area, the location is very good and the view is fantastic Score 4 out of 5 Review John, 2006-06-27 No review provided by user Score 5 out of 5 great all around hotel Anonymous, 2006-05-26 there are outlet centers and malls that are a couple of miles up the road from the hotel. The Bay Watch hotel was one of the nicest places i have stayed in. The staff was friendly and the hotel was close to all sorts of entertainment during the day (beach, pool, waterparks, golfing, etc.) and at night(restaurants, lounges, nightlife, etc.). The room was perfect. It had a nice 2 person jacuzzi with a big kitchen area. It was just a great place to stay. Score 5 out of 5 Excellent Family Resort Kaara, Charlotte, NC, 2006-05-07 lots of attractions and all types of food nearbyWe loved this hotel, it had everything for not only my 7 year old to do, but also my teenagers. The 2 bedroom suite we stayed in was very large, and is well worth the extra money to upgrade. We will be staying here again when we come back!! |
