Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 More than expected Anonymous, 2007-02-21 A lot of shops and some attractions within walking distance. A little farther out be sure to see Broadway at the Beach & Barefoot Landing. Bus service here is TERRIBLE, if you fly in be sure to rent a car at the airport.I expected a standard room, I got a three room condo! The Sailfish Resort is nothing fancy, but its clean & up to date. The ocean front location was perfect. The indoor pool and hottub where enjoyable. I would stay here again. Anonymous, Wilmington, NC, 2006-07-23 The Pavillion had numorious attractions that we thourghly enjoyed. Like shopping, arcades, food booths, and a family ammusement park. the entertainment was for both day and night, with a board walk right on the beach. My best friend and myself went to Myrtle Beach for a Birthday / vacation retreat. We were in heaven when we found a Starbucks right across the street from the hotel! Things only got better from there! The beach was beautiful each morning, this was my own time to enjoy the beach before all of the crowds arrived for the afternoon. We had one room but, within our room we each had our own room with a double bed. The mattresses were perfect!! We wish we could bring them home with us. Our only complaint was that our coffee pot did not have a lid, but we were enjoying our stay so much that we did not even report the problem to the hotel staff. We enjoyed the adventure of brewing our own coffee without a coffee pot lid! I am sure that the staff would have corrected the problem if we would have mentioned it to them. Score 2 out of 5 Older Hotel that needs maintainence IRIS, Denver, CO, 2006-05-22 The ocean is across the street, but you can see it from the balconys of the rooms. This is an older hotel that is in the process of remodling some of their rooms. My card key had to be reprogramed each time that I used it. The TV remote had to be replaced. Overall the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was as helpful as they could be.
