Most recent user reviewsScore 3 out of 5 Review Anonymous Sea Captain, great seafood restuarant on the water. The property is in the process of an upgrade which is typical during the off season. The room was okay, just alot of noise when the room next door used the shower/bath. Overall it wasn't a bad experience, the location is good and the amenities seemed to be enjoyed by the other guest. Score 5 out of 5 My review of Patricia Grand Resort Hotel Anonymous, Detroit, MI broadway was a couple driving miles away where they had shopping restraunts and night life all in one placeScore 5 out of 5 Family Oriented Dianne 1. Coastal Grand Mall- hop, skip & jump away. 2. Broadway at the Beach- restaurants & entertainment. 3.TARGET!!!! Minutes away!!My stay at the Patricia Grand was just what I needed. I wanted to just "get away" and relax. It was just me the first night. I had a king size bed with a small refigerator with an ocean view. It was clean and just right for me. I ate supper in the restaurant that night, which was absolutely delicious and the lady that waited on me was very friendly. My daughter & a friend were coming the next day & I realized us 3 could not all sleep on that king size bed. I spoke with the a man at the check in desk and told him about my situation, and he was kind enough to give me a room with two double beds, efficiency kitchen and still had a view of the ocean. The girls enjoyed the pool and lazy river. Overall, the experience was great & very relaxing. Score 5 out of 5 Nice family hotel Thomas You are with-in a few miles of anything you wantThe location was great, the room was what I asked for and the service was very good. My only sour point was the heavy use and smell of cholrine in the inside pool lazy river and Hot Tub. Score 2 out of 5 don't go during spring break Kynyetta, Detroit, MI, 2007-03-12 Ripley's believe it or not is not to far it was awesome. There were only three complaints (1) tub stopper to take a bath didn't work. (2) tub was not clean long black hair on walls. (3) loud banging on walls went to sleep with the banging and woke up to the banging. Minus these three occurences the hotel jumped on the problems they had sent the maintance man home it was around 8pm. but they sent security to somewhat quiet down the partiers. tub was fixed next morning all in all it was all right somewhat disappointed in lazy river pool to small. But myrtle beach was beautiful. Now i will say for our trouble they offered us free breakfast all in all they tried to make us feel as comfortable as possible. Score 5 out of 5 MB Marathon Gary, Charlotte, NC, 2007-02-18 Stay there because of location to MB Marathon. Clean, nice and close to start/finish line of race. Also close to resturants. Score 4 out of 5 Not bad for the money William, Greenville, SC, 2007-02-10 There are some great Mom and Pops as well as the Capt. KitchenThey were doing renovation which was needed. The unit is starting to show that beach hotel use but with the work it will rebound. It was comfortable, well located, and the staff was wonderful. Score 4 out of 5 Review Braxton, Charlotte, NC, 2006-12-18 No review provided by user Score 5 out of 5 Fun and Relaxing Anonymous, 2006-12-10 Beach and Pavilion areaThis hotel is a very good value for a beach front resort with all of the amenities. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel does show a little age wear, but the condition is above average for Ocean Blvd. Score 5 out of 5 Review Anonymous, Greensboro, NC, 2006-11-11 Great for children esp. in the winter months. The indoor pool was nice with two whirlpools. The lazy river room was too warm. My daughter has asthma and could not stay in the hot, damp air very long. I wear glasses and they stayed fogged up the whole time. So, while fun and easily accessible, the lazy river was pretty off limits to us. |
